Junior Account Manager

About the role

Paperchase Accountancy is seeking a Junior Account Manager to join its hospitality finance team in the New York City Metropolitan Area. This full‑time, hybrid position supports senior colleagues in delivering accounting, reporting and advisory services to a portfolio of restaurant, bar and hotel clients.

Key responsibilities

• Gather and organise financial data from client venues.
• Prepare routine reports, summaries and performance metrics.
• Assist senior managers with day‑to‑day accounting activities and financial reporting.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery of bookkeeping, projections and analytical insights.
• Respond to client queries professionally and maintain accurate records.
• Contribute to process improvements and support ad‑hoc projects as client needs evolve.

Required profile

• Strong numerical and analytical abilities with attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication focused on client service.
• Solid organisational and time‑management skills in a fast‑paced environment.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Accounting, Finance, Business, Economics or related field.
• Interest in or exposure to the hospitality sector is highly beneficial.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid setting and collaborate remotely.
• Initiative, problem‑solving mindset and desire to grow in account management or financial advisory.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel proficiency.
• Experience with accounting or financial software and general digital tools.
