About the role
The United States Marine Corps is seeking a full‑time Judge Advocate to provide comprehensive legal counsel across a range of military law areas. This on‑site position supports command leadership and service members with expert advice and representation.
Key responsibilities
- Provide legal advice on military justice, labor and employment, administrative, and family law matters.
- Represent clients in courts‑martial, tribunals, and other legal proceedings, both prosecuting and defending cases.
- Advise command leadership on legal implications of operational decisions.
- Draft, review, and ensure compliance with legal documents and policies.
- Address a broad spectrum of legal issues affecting the organization.
Required profile
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Active bar licensure in any U.S. state or territory.
- Commitment to uphold USMC values with demonstrated leadership and integrity.
