Journeyman Instructional Systems Designer (ISD)

About the role

Leidos is seeking a Journeyman Instructional Systems Designer to support an Intelligence Community (IC) program in Bethesda, MD, within its Intel Sector Analysis Solutions Business Area. The role covers full-spectrum training delivery and administration for Insider Threat and Operational Security classes, as well as related professionalization, certification and education activities.

Key responsibilities

• Instruct modules in virtual Insider Threat and Operational Security classes and facilitate breakout sessions.
• Update the Insider Threat and Operational Security curriculum and administer government training programs.
• Register and communicate with prospective and current students, set up virtual classrooms and breakout rooms, establish course calendars, and distribute certificates and surveys.
• Edit and refresh Insider Threat Competency Resource Guides, including focus groups, surveys, analysis and reporting.
• Support the Certified Counter Insider Threat Professional program, including bi-weekly calls, governance meetings and technical report reviews.
• Contribute to IC events such as the Insider Threat Data Analysis Working Group and the 811 Conference, and help plan National Insider Threat Awareness Month events.

Required profile

• Active TS/SCI polygraph clearance required up front.
• Three years of experience with a B.A./B.S. or M.A./M.S. degree, or nine years with no degree.
• Preferred: Insider Threat experience, previous instructor and training administration experience, and prior Intelligence Community experience.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking ability and strong attention to detail.

Pay range: $65,650 - $118,675.
