Journeyman Electrician

About the role

Spark Power is seeking an experienced Journeyman Electrician to join its team serving the Santa Teresa, New Mexico area. The role involves installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting electrical systems for industrial, commercial, and institutional customers while upholding the highest safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Install electrical components such as panels, wiring, junction boxes, devices, terminations, and lighting.
• Run and terminate conduit (EMT, GRC, PVC, stainless steel) and wire according to code.
• Troubleshoot and repair circuitry on complex industrial equipment and systems.
• Order parts, manage job materials via the computer system, and complete work orders to client specifications.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area and communicate with customers to ensure satisfaction.

Required profile

• 5+ years of relevant electrical experience, preferably in industrial, commercial or institutional settings.
• Valid state Journeyman Electrician license (preferred).
• Experience with conduit runs ranging from ½" to 2" and ability to troubleshoot complex installations.
• Familiarity with instrumentation, controls, and OSHA 10 certification (a plus).
• Strong ability to read blueprints and wiring diagrams.

Required skills

• Electrical troubleshooting on industrial systems.
• Blueprint and wiring diagram interpretation.
• Knowledge of NFPA/NEC electrical codes.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic computer applications.
