Journeyman Electrician (Class B)

About the role

Reframe Systems is seeking a Journeyman Electrician (Class B) to work across both factory and field operations, installing and integrating electrical systems in modular housing units. The role blends hands‑on wiring work with collaboration on building design and offers a pathway toward a Master Electrician license.

Key responsibilities

• Perform electrical installations in factory‑built modular units, including wiring, outlets, switches, lighting, and panels.
• Assist with on‑site electrical connections during module installation, ensuring compliance with project specifications and codes.
• Collaborate with engineers and designers to provide input on electrical layouts, system specifications, and constructability.
• Review shop drawings, digital plans, and system diagrams, offering feedback.
• Supervise and mentor apprentices, maintaining safety and quality standards.
• Conduct quality checks on both factory‑built and field‑installed systems.

Required profile

• Valid Massachusetts Electrician license.
• 3+ years of experience as an electrician on residential or commercial projects.
• Strong knowledge of the NEC and other electrical codes.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lb, work overhead, and perform manual tasks.
• Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills.

Required skills

• Electrical wiring and installation.
• Proficiency with electrical tools, equipment, and testing devices.
• Reading and interpreting blueprints, wiring diagrams, and digital plans.
• Knowledge of NEC code requirements.
