John Carroll Fellows Assistant for Alumni Network

About the role

The John Carroll Fellows Assistant will lead the creation of a formal alumni network for the Carroll Fellows Program, connecting past fellows with current students and the broader Georgetown community. This hybrid position supports the Program Director in building organizational frameworks, managing alumni data, and planning key events.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and launch the Carroll Fellows Alumni Network, coordinating with the Office of Advancement.
• Maintain and verify the alumni database, ensuring accurate records.
• Plan and execute major events such as two orientations, the Carroll Spring Dinner, and recruitment activities.
• Provide day‑to‑day support to the Program Director, including strategic coordination and documentation.
• Engage alumni to foster buy‑in, support fundraising efforts, and build momentum for the initiative.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience.
• Familiarity with the Carroll Fellows program, preferably as a former participant.
• Experience in project coordination, alumni relations, event planning, or higher‑education program management.
• Ability to organize complex projects, manage stakeholder communication, and track milestones.
