Job Captain – Architecture

About the role

Ware Malcomb is seeking a Job Captain to support the delivery of innovative design projects for a diverse client base. In this role you will coordinate across consultants and internal teams, contribute throughout all design phases, and provide construction administration support.

Key responsibilities

• Lead project coordination with consultants for all phases—from site planning to construction administration.
• Provide Revit support for the preparation of design and construction documents.
• Prepare and review design and construction documentation, including submittals for jurisdiction agencies.
• Assist the Project Manager or Architect with construction services such as site visits and shop‑drawing reviews.
• Conduct code research and analysis for each project.
• Support schedule preparation and budget review.
• Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, consultants, and internal team members.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in architecture.
• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or a related field.
• Proficiency in Revit.
• Familiarity with Newforma project‑information management.
• Strong knowledge of building codes and ability to coordinate complete contract documents.
