Java & Scala Developer – Charlotte, NC

About the role

Infosys is seeking a Java & Scala Developer to join its Financial Services unit in Charlotte, NC. You will work on AI‑driven digital transformation projects for banking, wealth management and insurance clients, contributing to the full software development lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Document assigned parts of business requirements and support the elicitation process.
• Facilitate design discussions, capture design decisions and guide the technical team.
• Develop new features and integrate updates into existing Java/Scala applications while ensuring system stability.
• Perform code reviews, modify the codebase and maintain version‑control repositories.
• Define and execute test strategies, analyse results and coordinate bug‑fixes to maintain quality standards.
• Create user training materials, documentation and support frameworks for smooth software adoption.
• Resolve production issues promptly and propose preventive measures to improve reliability.
• Maintain detailed records of code changes, testing techniques and support activities for knowledge sharing.

Required profile
