Java Full Stack Developer – Irvine, CA

About the role

Infosys' Financial Services unit is seeking a Java Full Stack Developer to join its technology consulting team in Irvine, California. You will work on digital transformation projects for banks, wealth managers and insurers, leveraging AI, cloud and data‑driven solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Document and refine business requirements as part of the elicitation process.
• Participate in solution design discussions and capture design decisions.
• Develop, test and integrate new features into existing Java applications while ensuring system stability.
• Conduct code reviews, maintain code repositories and implement continuous integration pipelines.
• Define and execute test strategies, analyse results and coordinate bug fixes.
• Create user training materials, documentation and support frameworks for smooth roll‑outs.
• Assist in production issue resolution and propose preventive measures to improve reliability.

Required profile

• Strong collaborative mindset with the ability to work closely with cross‑functional teams.
• Experience in full‑stack Java development within an enterprise environment.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms, particularly AWS core services.
• Understanding of relational databases, especially PostgreSQL.
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and continuous integration tools.
