Java Developer – Charlotte, NC

About the role

Infosys is seeking a Java Developer to join its Financial Services unit in Charlotte, NC. You will contribute to AI‑driven digital transformation projects for banking, wealth management and insurance clients.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct interviews and workshops to capture user requirements and document stakeholder needs.
• Participate in design discussions, create process documentation and translate specifications into code.
• Develop, refine and document new Java applications following detailed design specifications.
• Execute test plans, analyze results, report defects and support performance enhancements.
• Assist with integration of new features and ensure smooth transitions within existing systems.
• Monitor live applications, troubleshoot issues and maintain comprehensive documentation for ongoing maintenance.
