Java / Databricks Developer

About the role
We are looking for a Java / Databricks Developer to help migrate existing data pipelines to a modern cloud‑based architecture. The role involves building back‑end Java applications, designing ETL processes, and integrating data solutions within Java environments.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain back‑end applications using Java.
- Design, build, and optimise ETL pipelines.
- Participate in migrating on‑premises solutions to Databricks.
- Modernise legacy systems, including Teradata‑based platforms.
- Integrate data solutions into Java‑based application stacks.
- Improve performance and scalability of data pipelines.
Required profile
- 5+ years of experience as a Java developer.
- Proven experience in data engineering and ETL pipeline development.
- Hands‑on experience with Databricks and cloud environments.
- Experience migrating and modernising data pipelines and legacy architectures.
- College diploma (DEC) or bachelor’s degree (BAC) in computer science or equivalent.
- Fluent English.
