IT Systems Administrator – Mining Operations

About the role

Coeur Rochester is seeking an IT Systems Administrator to join the Information Technology team at the Rochester Mine near Lovelock, Nevada. This hands‑on position supports both the industrial and office environments, ensuring reliable technology services for mining operations.

Key responsibilities

• Support and maintain site infrastructure systems, servers, virtualization platforms, and network environments.
• Provide advanced technical support and troubleshooting for end‑users and operational technology.
• Act as an escalation point for Helpdesk and IT Technicians.
• Collaborate with senior IT and operational technology personnel to ensure stability and security.
• Perform day‑to‑day systems administration, infrastructure maintenance, and project implementation.

Required profile

• Technical generalist comfortable moving between server rooms and service desks.
• Experience in infrastructure administration within a fast‑paced operational environment.
• Strong customer‑service orientation and ability to work independently.
