IT Systems Administrator

About the role

Pinnacle Fertility, a provider of physician-centric fertility care, is looking for a skilled, hands-on IT Systems Administrator to support and maintain identity, endpoint, network and collaboration platforms across its nationwide network of clinics and corporate offices. The role shares responsibility for managing and troubleshooting critical IT systems, taking ownership of assigned areas while collaborating with colleagues. It is a full-time onsite position based in the corporate office in Scottsdale, Arizona, or one of the locations in Ohio, Illinois or Michigan.

Key responsibilities

• Administer the cloud-based Microsoft Entra ID tenant, including users, groups, devices, app registrations and enterprise applications.
• Design, implement and maintain Conditional Access policies, MFA and passwordless authentication, and risk-based sign-in controls.
• Manage role assignments and administrative access using least privilege, including Privileged Identity Management (PIM) where licensed.
• Perform access reviews, monitor sign-in and audit logs, and investigate suspicious identity activity.
• Manage onboarding, offboarding and lifecycle processes, including licensing and group-based assignment.
• Build, manage and audit security groups and permissions for SharePoint, Teams and OneDrive, and support data protection and compliance settings in the M365 tenant.
• Use Microsoft Intune to deploy and manage Windows devices, including Autopilot provisioning, compliance policies, configuration profiles and application packaging.
• Deploy and maintain endpoint security baselines and patching policies, and support remediation of vulnerabilities and non-compliant devices.
• Configure, maintain and troubleshoot network infrastructure (switches, routers, firewalls, wireless) and monitor network performance and security.
• Contribute to LAN, WAN and wireless designs for new and existing sites, support Azure resources, and apply security baselines such as CIS or NIST.
• Maintain documentation, runbooks, standards and change management, provide Tier 2/3 support and travel to company locations as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or 2-year technical degree in a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 3-5 years of experience in a systems administration or similar role.
• Hands-on experience administering Microsoft Entra ID, including Conditional Access and MFA.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune and Windows device management.

Required skills

• Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration, including SharePoint permissions.
• Practical networking knowledge (routing, switching, firewalls, VLANs, DNS/DHCP).
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills, and clear written and verbal communication.
