IT System Administrator (IB4)

About the role

The IT System Administrator ensures the stability, security, and efficiency of our technology infrastructure. You will work closely with supervisors to identify system needs, implement improvements, and support both virtual and physical environments.

Key responsibilities

• Meet with supervisors to discuss system requirements and enhancements.
• Manage Windows, Linux, and macOS systems, including troubleshooting OS issues.
• Administer Group Policy and Active Directory.
• Train staff on new policies and software deployments.
• Resolve hardware and software problems related to system administration.
• Create, manage, and maintain virtual machines, servers, and physical server hardware.
• Perform backup and restore operations as needed.
• Keep server rooms organized and maintain monitoring tools such as Zabbix and Graylog.
• Monitor systems for failures and manage endpoints, MDM, and anti‑virus solutions.
• Maintain inventory and oversee system‑related projects.
• Document procedures, policies, and forms.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Strong troubleshooting abilities and solid understanding of networking concepts.
• Familiarity with hardware components and cybersecurity best practices.
• Experience with OS upgrades/downgrades and data backup/recovery.
• Good communication and project management skills.
