IT Support Technician – New Orleans QA Facility

About the role

We are looking for an IT Support Technician to join our newly opened QA testing facility in New Orleans. You will be the first point of contact for the testing teams, ensuring that all hardware, software, and network services run smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the NOLA Service Desk and provide 1st/2nd line support to QA testing teams.
• Provision testing equipment and handle day‑to‑day administration of local servers, systems, and network devices.
• Implement global IT policies, handle procurement, and negotiate vendor contracts.
• Maintain detailed documentation, audit IT assets, and perform vulnerability scanning and patching.
• Respond to security events generated by the SIEM solution.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Management Systems, or a related technical field.
• Minimum 2 years of IT support experience.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities, able to meet tight deadlines.
• Effective team player working with local and global IT groups.

Required skills

• Server, PC and mobile hardware knowledge.
• Fundamental networking principles.
• CompTIA A+ (or equivalent) certification.
• Operating systems: Windows 10, macOS, iOS, Android.
• Active Directory user and group management.
• VoIP phone systems.
• PC image deployment technologies.
• Encryption tools such as BitLocker.
• Vulnerability scanning and patch management.
• SIEM security event handling.
