IT Support Technician – Corporate & Dealership

About the role

The IT Support Technician provides technical assistance to Penske Automotive Group’s corporate headquarters and its network of dealerships. Working from the Bloomfield Hills office, you will resolve issues via phone, remote tools, and face‑to‑face interactions while delivering excellent customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Provision accounts for cloud productivity apps and Dealer Management Systems.
• Support enterprise, manufacturer and third‑party applications, including access management.
• Deliver primary technical support by phone and remote software, escalating as needed.
• Prioritize, track and resolve incidents using the ticket management system.
• Deploy and maintain technology for executive users.
• Troubleshoot and configure mobile devices (iOS/Android).
• Provide weekend, holiday and after‑hours support on a rotating schedule, including occasional travel.

Required profile

• Associate degree in Computer Science or related field (four‑year degree preferred).
• Minimum two years of relevant technical support experience.
• Willingness to pursue ongoing training and certification.

Required skills

• Microsoft 365 services – Exchange Online, Microsoft Entra ID, Teams.
• Microsoft Active Directory and hybrid identity environments.
• Windows desktop operating systems and Office applications.
• PC hardware, peripherals, and mobile devices (iOS/Android).
• Endpoint and client‑side cybersecurity solutions.
• VOIP systems.
• Basic WAN/LAN troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with automotive retail environments and dealership management systems (Reynolds/CDK).
