IT Support Specialist – Hybrid (Independence, OH)

About the role

Life Line Screening is seeking an IT Support Specialist to join its fast‑paced, nationwide organization. The role is hybrid, requiring two days per week on‑site in Independence, OH, and focuses on delivering timely technical assistance to end‑users while maintaining the health of the IT infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Provide prompt support for hardware, software, and network issues.
• Set up, install, and configure computers, peripherals, and applications.
• Diagnose and resolve technical problems related to devices and connectivity.
• Collaborate with the IT team to escalate and solve complex issues.
• Document troubleshooting steps and maintain accurate IT records.
• Manage inventory of hardware and software assets.
• Coordinate with vendors for procurement and support.
• Install, upgrade, and configure software applications.
• Create user guides, manuals, and deliver training sessions.
• Communicate technical information clearly to non‑technical users.

Required profile

• Associate’s degree in Information Technology or related field, or equivalent experience.
• At least 1 year of technical support experience (preferred).
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Strong commitment to customer confidentiality.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Problem‑solving orientation.
• Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+ or Microsoft Certified IT Professional are a plus.
