IT Support Engineer

About the role

Anthropic’s IT Operations team keeps the company running smoothly. As an IT Support Engineer you will combine strong technical abilities with a service mindset to support a primarily macOS environment, automate repetitive tasks, and improve the employee experience as the company scales.

Key responsibilities

• Triaging and resolving hardware, software, networking, and account issues via ticketing system, Slack, and in‑person.
• Diagnosing and fixing problems on macOS, ChromeOS, iOS, Android, and core SaaS platforms such as Google Workspace, Slack, GitHub, and Atlassian.
• Supporting device enrollment, configuration profiles, policy enforcement, and AV/conference room equipment.
• Managing access, onboarding/offboarding workflows, and participating in on‑call rotation.
• Writing and maintaining runbooks, how‑to guides, and knowledge‑base articles.
• Automating repetitive tasks with Bash or Python scripts and spotting patterns for process improvement.

Required profile

• Hands‑on IT support experience in a fast‑paced environment.
• Experience supporting macOS endpoints and comfortable with ChromeOS, iOS, Android.
• Familiarity with Google Workspace and Slack administration.
• Understanding of identity and access fundamentals (SSO, MFA, directory services).
• Basic scripting skills in Bash or Python.
