IT Support Associate I – Front‑line Technical Support

About the role

Expeditors is seeking an IT Support Associate I to provide front‑line technical assistance to its employees worldwide. In this entry‑level position you will help ensure that hardware, software and network services run smoothly, delivering reliable technology support in a fast‑paced logistics environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first‑level support for hardware, software and network issues, resolving tickets or escalating when necessary.
• Assist with system installations, updates, patching and basic configuration under senior staff guidance.
• Troubleshoot operating systems, enterprise applications, mobile devices, printers and other peripherals.
• Document incidents, resolutions and procedures in the ticketing and knowledge‑base systems.
• Communicate technical information clearly to users of varying technical backgrounds.
• Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to ensure efficient service delivery.

Required profile

• Strong customer‑service orientation with a desire to help colleagues solve technical problems.
• Ability to follow documented processes and contribute to knowledge‑base articles.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Willingness to work closely with senior IT staff and learn on the job.

Required skills

• Basic troubleshooting of operating systems, applications, mobile devices and peripherals.
• Familiarity with ticketing or help‑desk platforms and knowledge‑management tools.
