IT Security Help Desk Analyst (Remote)

About the role

We are looking for an IT Security Help Desk Analyst to provide frontline support for security‑related incidents, user access requests, and daily cybersecurity operations. The role is fully remote and focuses on protecting organizational systems and data by responding to alerts, managing identities, and guiding users on security best practices.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for security‑related support tickets and incidents.
• Monitor, triage, and escalate security alerts and suspicious activity.
• Handle user account management, password resets, and access provisioning/de‑provisioning.
• Assist with Identity and Access Management (IAM) processes and periodic access reviews.
• Investigate phishing reports, malware alerts, and policy violations.
• Support endpoint security, antivirus, and device compliance activities.
• Document incidents, resolutions, and troubleshooting steps in the ticketing system.
• Educate users on cybersecurity awareness and best practices.
• Assist with security audits, compliance evidence collection, and knowledge‑base maintenance.

Required profile

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in IT, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of experience in IT Help Desk, Service Desk, Technical Support, or Security Operations.
• Basic understanding of cybersecurity concepts, threats, vulnerabilities, and controls.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
