IT & Security Administrator – Mac, Windows & Google Workspace

About the role

We are seeking a US‑based independent IT administrator or small MSP to manage IT and security for a 14‑person team that uses both Mac and Windows devices and Google Workspace. The partner will take ownership of technical execution, keeping the environment secure and productive without unnecessary overhead.

Key responsibilities

• Manage endpoint protection and device security across macOS and Windows.
• Administer Google Workspace security settings and access controls.
• Patch operating systems and key software, and monitor security alerts.
• Provide backup coverage for devices and data, and handle routine IT/security troubleshooting.
• Complete an initial transition/setup project and then deliver ongoing lean maintenance.

Required profile

• Strong experience supporting small businesses (10–30 users).
• Hands‑on expertise with both macOS and Windows environments.
• Proven Google Workspace administration and security experience.
• Ability to perform work personally rather than subcontracting.
• US‑based and able to work fully remote.

Required skills

• Endpoint protection, patch management, and device backup.
• Huntress platform experience (preferred) with ability to provide licenses.
• Strong documentation and security best‑practice skills.
