IT Risk Advisory Associate Director

About the role

Riveron is seeking an Associate Director to lead IT risk advisory engagements. You will work closely with senior team members, manage project delivery, and mentor staff while helping clients navigate complex compliance and cybersecurity challenges.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage IT General Controls (ITGC), SOX IT compliance, ERP/application control reviews, and cybersecurity risk assessments for client engagements.
• Develop project plans, review staff work for quality, provide status updates to clients and internal leadership, and ensure deliverables meet COSO, COBIT, and ISO standards.
• Analyze system-generated data, configurations, and logs to evaluate control environments and identify gaps.
• Communicate findings and recommendations through oral and written presentations to executive leadership.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, MIS or related field.
• Minimum 8 years of experience as an IT auditor or IT risk advisor, preferably in a public accounting firm.
• Relevant certifications preferred (CISA, CISSP, CISM, CGEIT, CIPP, CPA).
• Demonstrated knowledge of IT risk management, general and application controls, cybersecurity principles, and regulatory frameworks such as SOX, NIST, ISO.
