IT Instructor – 2+ Years Experience

About the role

The law firm Marshall Dennehey is seeking an IT Instructor to design, develop, and deliver training for its applications and systems. This full‑time position supports new hires, existing staff, and ongoing technology initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver training programs for new hires, new applications, and refresher courses.
• Develop curriculum, training scripts, quick reference guides, and online materials such as videos and module summaries.
• Maintain training schedules, coordinate with managers, and manage classroom logistics (online, in‑person, or one‑on‑one).
• Provide first‑ and second‑level technical support and after‑hours support on a rotation schedule.
• Maintain a library of training documentation and continuously improve internal training programs based on feedback.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in education, business, HR, IT, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of corporate training experience, preferably in a legal environment.
• Strong communication, presentation, and public‑speaking abilities.
• Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced, sometimes stressful environment.

Required skills

• Advanced/Expert proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Proficiency with Windows 11.
• Experience with legal‑specific applications such as document management systems and matter management software.
