Associate Degree Apprenticeship – Summer 2027 (NYC/Philadelphia)

About the role

Zurich North America’s Apprentice Program offers a two‑year paid apprenticeship that combines virtual coursework at Harper Community College with work rotations in Philadelphia or New York City. Participants will work full‑time while attending school part‑time to earn an Associate in Applied Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Insurance.

Key responsibilities

• Service accounts through the end‑to‑end process.
• Access and evaluate underwriting processes while implementing best practices.
• Follow instructions from underwriters in policy rating and pricing.
• Review application of mandatory policy forms in relation to accounts.
• Resolve inquiries from brokers, underwriters, and internal customers.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must be enrolled and validated as college ready by Harper Community College Admissions.
• 1+ years of work experience or leadership in student activities or community service (preferred).
• Interest in pursuing a career in the insurance industry (preferred).
