Executive Functioning Coach for Elementary Students

About the role

Prep Academy Tutors is seeking an In‑Home Executive Functioning Coach to work one‑on‑one with elementary students in Philadelphia. The coach will help students develop organization, time‑management, and self‑regulation skills to improve academic performance and personal confidence.

Key responsibilities

• Provide in‑home, personalized coaching after school and on weekends, up to 20 hours per week.
• Develop and implement customized strategies for each student’s executive functioning needs.
• Support students in setting and achieving academic and personal goals.
• Communicate regularly with parents/guardians about progress and next steps.
• Offer supplemental academic and enrichment support when needed.
• Foster independence, confidence, and motivation in students.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree and at least one of: valid PA teaching certificate, current student teacher, two+ years classroom experience, university lecturer experience, or Master’s/PhD student with TA experience.
• Experience working with neurodivergent or neurotypical students on executive functioning or academic coaching.
• Energetic, patient, empathetic, and committed to individualized support.
• Strong communication and organizational abilities.
