IT Helpdesk Specialist (Remote)

About the role

We are looking for an IT Helpdesk Specialist to serve as the first point of contact for employee technical issues. The role involves providing remote support, troubleshooting hardware, software and network problems, and contributing to IT projects and training initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service for hardware, software, and network issues via phone, email, and in‑person.
• Diagnose and resolve technical problems, documenting each case in the ticketing system.
• Set up, configure, and maintain computers, peripherals, and mobile devices.
• Collaborate with the IT team to improve processes and implement system enhancements.
• Conduct training sessions on new software and technology tools.
• Stay current with technology trends and best practices.
• Participate in IT projects and initiatives as required.

Required profile

• Associate’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 1–2 years of helpdesk or technical support experience.
• Strong understanding of computer systems, mobile devices, and common software applications.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot hardware and software issues.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with a customer‑service focus.

Required skills

• Experience with ticketing systems such as Zendesk or ServiceNow.
• Remote support tools.
• Windows and macOS operating systems.
• Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace.
• Basic network troubleshooting.
