IT Helpdesk Specialist – Remote

About the role

We are looking for an IT Helpdesk Specialist to be the first point of contact for employees needing technical assistance. This remote position supports a diverse workforce across the United States, ensuring smooth operation of hardware, software, and network services.

Key responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service for hardware, software, and network issues via phone, email, and virtual sessions.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve technical problems promptly.
• Set up, configure, and maintain computers, peripherals, and mobile devices.
• Document and track all support requests in the ticketing system.
• Collaborate with the IT team to improve processes and systems.
• Deliver training sessions on new software and technology tools.
• Participate in IT projects and initiatives as needed.

Required profile

• Associate's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 1‑2 years of helpdesk or technical support experience.
• Strong communication skills with a customer‑service focus.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, remote environment and manage multiple priorities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ticketing systems such as Zendesk or ServiceNow.
• Experience with Windows and macOS operating systems.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace.
• Basic networking concepts and troubleshooting.
