IT Help Desk Specialist – Boston

About the role

Lendbuzz is seeking a customer‑centric IT Help Desk Specialist to be the primary point of contact for all workplace technology needs at its Boston headquarters. You will manage the full employee lifecycle for hardware and software, ensuring smooth operation of desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and collaboration tools.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first‑line support for hardware, software, and connectivity issues on Windows and macOS devices.
• Provision, configure, and de‑provision user accounts and access in Google Workspace, Zoom Rooms, and other internal tools.
• Set up, maintain, and troubleshoot Zoom Rooms hardware and software for video conferencing.
• Deliver AV support for meetings and events, including projectors, microphones, speakers, and presentation equipment.
• Assist with on‑premise IT infrastructure such as LAN/Wi‑Fi networks, printers, and office devices.
• Document incidents and resolutions in the ticketing system and educate users on best practices.
• Escalate complex issues to senior staff or vendors and support IT projects like hardware rollouts and software updates.

Required profile

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 1–2 years of experience in help‑desk, desktop, or technical support.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
