iOS/Mobile Software Engineer – Aviation AI Startup

About the role

You will build mission‑critical iOS applications that improve flight safety and operational efficiency. Working on a fast‑moving hybrid team, you will develop real‑time, user‑facing features using SwiftUI and Swift, directly bridging AI insights with human pilots.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement high‑performance iOS features with Swift, SwiftUI, and modern mobile frameworks for real‑time data visualization.
• Integrate complex internal and external APIs to deliver flight data and sensor information to pilots.
• Collaborate with senior engineers and product designers to create intuitive, safety‑critical mobile experiences.
• Ship production code for a platform used by the Department of Defense and major commercial airlines.

Required profile

• 2+ years of iOS development experience.
• Proficiency in Swift and SwiftUI, with exposure to UIKit and multithreading.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and experience with asynchronous programming (async/await or GCD).
• U.S. Person status (citizen or green card) due to export‑control regulations.
• Lives within commuting distance of San Carlos.
