Inventory Deployment Planner

About the role

The Inventory Deployment Planner plays a pivotal role in our Integrated Business Planning process, creating optimized short‑term inventory deployment plans that move product efficiently from breweries to our distribution centre network.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee inventory distribution across the network, allocating stock from multiple production facilities, DCs and direct‑to‑wholesaler assignments while respecting constraints, forecasted billings and inventory levels.
• Analyse and implement best‑practice shipping strategies that balance cost efficiency with high customer‑service standards.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to align deployment strategies with real‑world constraints for upcoming production cycles.
• Maintain planning parameters in systems to generate viable shipment plans.
• Review system‑generated shipment recommendations and create SAP transactions for brewery operations.
• Support cost‑saving initiatives and coordinate feasible shipment plans with brewery operations.
• Continuously monitor and report brewery execution against shipment plans, analysing trends and leading improvement initiatives.
• Execute rebalancing strategies to mitigate network imbalances and maintain optimal distribution.
• Provide weekly planning updates, scenario planning and support continuous‑improvement projects.

Required profile

• B.A./B.S. in Supply Chain, Operations, Business or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in planning, finance, supply chain, production or optimisation roles.
• Experience with ERP and Advanced Planning & Scheduling (APS) software, as well as business intelligence and analytics tools.
• Strong quantitative and analytical abilities with a proven track record of turning data into actionable inventory‑planning insights.
• Solid understanding of standard inventory deployment practices.
