International Tax Analyst

About the role

SpaceX is looking for an International Tax Analyst to support U.S. and local country tax matters for its subsidiaries worldwide as the Starlink business expands. The role is based in Hawthorne, CA and will be part of the international tax team, collaborating with multiple internal functions.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and coordinate direct and indirect tax returns with external service providers.
• Ensure compliance with local tax and e‑invoicing requirements in all jurisdictions where Starlink operates.
• Partner with operations, commercial, legal, customs, treasury, accounting, and finance teams to maintain compliance.
• Manage tax payments, monitor due dates, calculate amounts, and record payments accurately.
• Maintain tax records, legal agreements, customs, and transfer‑pricing documentation.
• Respond to notices and audits from tax authorities.
• Support ad‑hoc tax projects as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree.
• At least 2 years of combined tax experience in public accounting and/or a multinational corporation.
• Willingness to work extended hours or weekends to meet critical deadlines.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Experience using OneSource.
• Knowledge of Alteryx.
• SQL querying skills.

What we offer

• Salary range $85,000‑$120,000 per year.
