International Registered Nurse

About the role

The International RN provides direct nursing care across multiple specialties such as ED, ICU, Geriatric, Med/Surg, and Hospice. The role includes travel to the Middle East and may be adjusted based on experience.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and monitor patient care plans, documenting condition and interventions.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments according to nursing protocols.
• Coordinate discharge planning and educate patients and families, respecting cultural considerations.
• Serve as primary coordinator among disciplines to ensure well‑coordinated patient care.

Required profile

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program with a BSN; current state RN licensure.
• Minimum three years of RN experience, including acute care, ED, ICU, or related settings; military RN experience considered.
• Physical ability to lift patients, stand for long periods, and work under stressful, irregular hours.

Required skills

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (AHA).
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification (AHA) as required by unit.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification for ED roles.
• Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) or Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course (ENPC) for trauma centers.
• Cancer‑specific certification or ongoing oncology education for relevant units.
