Internal Audit and Financial Advisory Consultant

About the role

Protiviti is hiring an Internal Audit and Financial Advisory Consultant in Philadelphia. Consultants work with leading companies to deliver client-focused solutions, building knowledge of business processes, regulatory environments and risk and control frameworks, and gaining experience across different industries.

Key responsibilities

• Assess risks, analyze data, document observations and communicate insights that contribute to client engagements
• Build professional relationships with client and project team personnel
• Manage time and priorities, take ownership of assignments and contribute to team outcomes
• Work in Business Process Audit and Advisory or Technology Audit and Advisory, covering risk management, controls testing, security, corporate governance, cybersecurity, AI risk, data governance and cloud

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant discipline such as Accounting, Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Finance, Information Systems or Management Information Systems
• Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future
• Hands-on experience with internal audit processes, data handling and analysis, and modern tools
• Interest in advanced analytics and automation technologies

Required skills

• Demonstrated proficiency applying AI tools to analytical and research tasks (e.g., Microsoft Copilot, GenAI)
• Microsoft Office Suite and data visualization tools such as Power BI
• Entry-level proficiency in software development, best practices and methodologies
• Interest in Alteryx, MS Power Platform and Python
