About the role

Join Cowboy Space Corp. as a hands‑on hardware intern in Kent, Washington, working on the company’s in‑house launch vehicle and satellite systems. You will be placed on one of several specialized tracks (e.g., Powerpack turbopump, propulsion, mechanisms, fluid systems) and will own a defined component, analysis or test from concept through delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Define, design, and execute a scoped hardware task such as a component test, analysis, or prototype.
• Collaborate with senior engineers to integrate your work into the launch vehicle or satellite subsystem.
• Document results, generate reports, and present findings to the team before the internship ends.
• Participate in team meetings, design reviews, and hands‑on assembly or testing activities.

Required profile

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate engineering program (mechanical, aerospace, electrical, or related).
• Strong interest in launch, propulsion, or satellite hardware.
• Ability to work independently on a defined project and communicate results effectively.

Required skills

• Basic understanding of mechanical systems, fluid dynamics, or propulsion concepts.
