Intern, Design Engineering – Test Equipment

About the role

Moog’s Test Equipment Design team within the Space & Defense Group is looking for a fall‑block intern to contribute to the development of complex test equipment. The position is hybrid, based in Buffalo, NY, with onsite work in Elma, NY.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute to the successful development of complex test equipment.
• Provide technical support to engineers as needed.
• Offer input on project processes, strategies, and execution.
• Collaborate as a multidisciplinary team member.

Required profile

• Enrolled in an Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics Bachelor’s or Master’s program at an accredited university.
• GPA of at least 3.0 (specific requirement set by department).
• Ability to relocate for the duration of the internship.
• Professional disposition, effective communication, strong desire to learn, positive attitude, and teamwork skills.

Required skills

• Electrical Engineering fundamentals.
• Mechatronics principles.
• Experience or coursework related to test equipment design.
