Insurance Producer, Marine

About the role

Marsh McLennan Agency (MMA) is hiring an Insurance Producer on its Marine Insurance team in Palm Beach Gardens. As a producer, you will help develop new marine and yacht business, act as the primary relationship steward and grow your book of business alongside the agency's support.

Key responsibilities

• Develop a comprehensive prospecting plan, including targets and methodology, to turn prospects into clients in the marine and yacht sector
• Network with centres of influence to create new opportunities
• Present the agency's value proposition for each opportunity and align the agency's resources and capabilities
• Leverage referrals and targeted introductions from clients, prospects and business relationships

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Current and active 2-20 Florida insurance license
• Prior B2B sales experience with consultative sales skills
• Proven track record in developing new clients and retaining existing relationships (a plus)

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office, including Excel
• Proficiency with Agency Management Systems
• Bachelor's degree or higher (specialization in Risk Management highly preferred) is a plus
