Insurance Marketing Account Executive

About the role

McGriff Specialty, a division of Marsh McLennan Agency, is hiring a Marketing Account Executive on its Commercial Lines team. You will lead and coordinate marketing activities on new and renewal business and support the Producer in sales activities, acting as a consultative point of contact for clients.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as a consultative point of contact for clients, identify their needs and give recommendations with supporting rationale, with limited or no oversight from the Producer
• Demonstrate strong negotiation skills and respond to Requests for Proposals
• Participate in prospect meetings and direct and lead mid-year reviews
• Work closely with national leadership to drive line-of-business strategy and initiatives
• Lead, mentor and train other account service team members

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Property and casualty insurance license
• Considerable experience placing construction-specific insurance programs, with in-depth knowledge of industry-specific markets and coverage terms and conditions
• Ability to travel
• Additional insurance industry certifications and significant experience leading teams or projects are a plus but not required
