About the role

Kemper is seeking motivated individuals to join its field sales team as Insurance Agent Trainees in Tyler, Texas. This full‑time, paid‑training position prepares you to sell life insurance, collect premiums, and serve modest‑income families.

Key responsibilities

• Attend paid training, study for and pass state licensing exams.
• After licensing, manage an assigned book of business and collect monthly premiums.
• Conduct sales presentations, recommend appropriate policies, and close new sales.
• Prospect for new customers and maintain strong relationships with existing clients.
• Handle service requests such as beneficiary changes, claims, and policy loans.
• Maintain accurate records of payments and policy paperwork.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; willingness to obtain insurance licenses.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a passion for serving underserved communities.
• Self‑motivated, reliable, and able to work independently in the field.
