Insurance Account Manager (US) – Commercial & Personal Lines

About the role

EDGE is seeking a versatile and proactive Insurance Account Manager to support US‑based insurance agencies across commercial and personal lines. The role blends client‑facing service, renewal management, back‑office administration, and business development, requiring a deep understanding of the US insurance lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as primary point of contact for clients, producers, carriers, and internal teams, handling policy changes, endorsements, cancellations, and updates.
• Issue Certificates of Insurance (COIs) and Evidence of Property Insurance (EPI) accurately and promptly.
• Manage the renewal pipeline, initiating pre‑renewal processes 60–90 days (commercial) or 30–45 days (personal) before expiration.
• Track renewal timelines using automation tools to ensure presentations are ready at least 30 days prior to expiry.
• Prepare and submit ACORD applications, comparative quotes, and re‑quotes.
• Integrate data across carrier platforms while maintaining strict adherence to timelines and operational standards.

Required profile

• Ability to work independently and drive data integration across multiple systems.
• Excellent communication skills for client interaction and internal collaboration.
• Proactive approach to managing renewal pipelines and meeting deadlines.

Required skills

• Proficiency with agency management systems such as EZLynx, Applied Epic, AMS360, HawkSoft, QQ Catalyst, or NowCerts.
• Experience in issuing COIs, handling policy endorsements, and preparing ACORD applications.
• Familiarity with comparative quoting and renewal processing workflows.
