About the role

The Institutional Services Assistant provides essential custodial support across the University of Arkansas at Monticello campus. This full‑time position ensures that academic, residential, and public spaces remain clean, safe, and welcoming for students, staff, and visitors.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning of offices, classrooms, lecture halls, conference rooms, auditoriums, and resident halls.
• Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, building common areas, and other designated spaces.
• Follow state and federal regulations, as well as university policies, while performing duties.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety concerns to the appropriate department.

Required profile

• Basic education or training sufficient to read and write.
• Relevant experience or job‑related training may substitute for formal education.
• Ability to work independently and follow established cleaning procedures.
