Insider Threat Analyst – Security Team

About the role

Quantinuum is looking for an experienced Insider Threat Analyst to join its security team across several U.S. locations. The analyst will review alerts, conduct investigations, develop detection strategies, and help mature the insider threat program while collaborating with Legal, HR, IT, and business units.

Key responsibilities

• Review, triage, and prioritize alerts from DTEX, Microsoft Purview, and other monitoring platforms.
• Develop, tune, and optimize insider threat detection use cases across UEBA, DLP, SIEM, and endpoint monitoring.
• Monitor DTEX telemetry and Microsoft Purview to identify high‑risk behaviors and potential data exfiltration.
• Conduct behavioral analysis, threat hunting, and investigations from triage through remediation.
• Coordinate with Legal, HR, and external law enforcement as needed.
• Create and maintain insider threat playbooks, metrics, KPIs, and dashboards.
• Deliver insider threat awareness training for employees and security teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree minimum.
• 5+ years of experience in insider threat analysis or a related cybersecurity discipline.
• 5+ years of experience with DTEX or a comparable insider threat solution.

Required skills

• DTEX (or similar insider threat platform).
• Microsoft Purview for data loss prevention and insider risk management.
• Microsoft Entra ID for identity analytics and privileged account monitoring.
• Experience with UEBA, DLP, SIEM, and endpoint monitoring tools.
• Behavioral analysis, threat hunting, and data exfiltration detection techniques.
