Army Administrative Security Support Specialist – Pentagon

About the role

Arcetyp LLC is seeking an experienced Army Administrative Security Support Specialist to work onsite at the Pentagon in Arlington, VA. The role focuses on managing classified materials, coordinating with Special Security Office (SSO) teams, and ensuring compliance with Army and DoD security policies.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and monitor physical, personnel, and information security procedures in a DoD environment.
• Coordinate with SSO offices to manage classified documents and materials.
• Implement OPSEC measures and oversee physical access controls for restricted areas.
• Conduct pre‑travel briefings and post‑travel debriefings in line with DoW and Army foreign travel policies.
• Ensure ongoing compliance with Army and DoD security regulations.

Required profile

• U.S. citizenship with an active SECRET security clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree and at least 5 years of security administration experience within a DoD or federal setting.
• Familiarity with Army and DoD physical, personnel, and information security policies.
• Proven ability to work with SSO offices and manage classified information.

Required skills

• Knowledge of OPSEC principles and physical access control systems.
• Understanding of DoW and Army foreign travel policy requirements.
