Inside Sales Representative

About the role

Liberty Roofing Center, a distributor of roofing shingles and building materials with nine locations in the eastern USA, is looking for an experienced Inside Sales Representative for its Elizabeth, NJ location. The role supports the branch and territory sales teams through outbound calling, order processing and customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Branch/Operations Manager with cycle counts and inventory control
• Help with job site deliveries
• Support customers and Territory Sales Representatives
• Make outbound sales calls, contact prospects and pass pre-qualified leads to territory reps
• Process orders and paperwork
• Help customers with product requirements, delivery concerns and pricing
• Answer incoming calls promptly and professionally
• Provide sales support for walk-in customers
• Follow up on customer and administrative inquiries and attend meetings, events and training as required

Required profile

• Experience driving a van
• Ability to operate van and seamless gutter equipment
• Good interpersonal, presentation and communication skills
• Positive, winning, can-do attitude
• General understanding of sales and customer service
• Proven ability to work independently and in a team
• Knowledge of building and construction products preferred but not required
• Reliable transportation to and from work
