Inside Sales Membership Advisor

About the role

Equinox is hiring an Inside Sales Membership Advisor in New York City. As a brand ambassador, you are the first point of contact for prospective members reaching the brand through digital channels. You manage inbound digital leads, build relationships over the phone and guide prospects through a personalized sales journey, supported by the Centralized Sales Manager.

Key responsibilities

• Convert inbound digital leads into memberships and ancillary service packages
• Communicate regularly with prospects by phone, email or text and book visits to the Clubs
• Listen actively to understand needs and recommend tailored solutions
• Achieve individual sales goals, in-club assisted sales, renewals and ancillary service targets
• Work with the General Manager and Regional Sales Director to refine sales strategies
• Use Salesforce to track, manage and nurture leads, and follow up with them
• Gather feedback from new members to improve the sales process

Required profile

• Previous inside sales experience with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, active listening and empathy
• Comfortable in a fast-paced sales environment with a high-touch customer experience
• Enthusiastic, personable and friendly, with a passion for health, fitness and wellness
• Ability to work at least 40 hours per week, including evenings and weekends, and the last four days of each month
• Legal right to work in the United States

Required skills

• Digital and phone sales, with CRM tools such as Salesforce
• Sales strategy and execution, data analysis and performance tracking
• Presentation and sales capabilities

What we offer

• Base pay of approximately $49,920 annually (non-exempt, eligible for overtime); variable bonus and commission can bring total annual compensation to $75,000-$90,000
