Inside Sales Assistant

About the role

The Inside Sales Assistant provides administrative and operational support to the sales team of a manufacturing company, ensuring smooth sales processes and excellent customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Enter and track customer orders, monitor shipments and ensure timely delivery.
• Respond to inquiries via phone, email and chat with product information, pricing and availability.
• Prepare and distribute sales reports, presentations and related documentation.
• Maintain accurate customer records in the CRM system.
• Coordinate with logistics and finance to resolve order‑fulfillment issues.
• Assist in preparing quotes, proposals and contracts.
• Monitor inventory levels to meet customer demand.
• Support organization of sales meetings, trade shows and events.
• Provide calendar management, appointment scheduling and other administrative assistance.

Required profile

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or related field preferred.
• At least one year of experience in sales support or administrative role.
• Manufacturing industry experience is a plus.
• Strong communication, organizational and time‑management skills.
• Detail‑oriented with a customer‑focused mindset.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Experience with CRM software.
