About the role
Join BAYADA as a Personal Care Aide and provide compassionate, one‑on‑one support to adults in their homes. No prior experience is required; paid training is offered to qualified candidates.
Key responsibilities
- Follow a written care plan from a registered nurse to deliver personal care, household support, and companionship.
- Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, grooming, toileting, and nail care.
- Provide light housekeeping, laundry, bed making, meal preparation and feeding.
- Support range‑of‑motion exercises, ambulation, and use of mechanical lifting devices.
- Give medication reminders as needed.
Required profile
- Passion for caregiving and a desire to help others.
- Empathy, patience, kindness and respect.
- Ability to travel to clients’ homes and be present during scheduled shifts.
- Commitment to delivering quality care with compassion and reliability.
