Ingeniero QA Semi Senior – 100% Remoto

About the role

We are looking for a Semi‑Senior QA Engineer to join a challenging telecom project. The role is fully remote (based in Chile) and involves ensuring the quality of modern, agile‑driven applications and services.

Key responsibilities

• Design and execute functional and comprehensive test plans.
• Define and build BDD/Gherkin test cases.
• Automate Front‑End, API and service tests.
• Run end‑to‑end, regression, performance and usability tests.
• Validate integrations between frontend and backend (APIs/micro‑services).
• Generate test data and execution reports.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Manage test artifacts and evidence in Jira/XRay.
• Implement QA best practices and automation patterns.

Required profile

• 2+ years of experience in functional and automation QA.
• Hands‑on mindset with a strong functional background.
• Experience working in agile (SCRUM) environments.
• Preferably experience in telecom or complex micro‑service systems.

Required skills

• Selenium, Katalon, Cucumber, Appium.
• API testing tools: Postman, Karate, SoapUI.
• Programming language: Java.
• CI tools: Jenkins, Azure Pipelines.
• Test management: Jira, XRay.
• Performance testing: JMeter.
• Version control: Git, GitLab.
• Database querying: SQL.
