Information Security Manager (ISM)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Information Security Manager to lead and continuously improve our global security program. Based in the United States with operations worldwide, you will protect the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our information assets and ensure compliance with multiple regulatory frameworks.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain security policies, standards and procedures.
• Manage the Information Security Management System (ISMS) and drive continuous improvement.
• Conduct risk assessments, maintain the risk register and oversee remediation.
• Lead compliance initiatives for ISO 27001, SOC 2, NIST, GDPR, HIPAA, PCI DSS and other frameworks.
• Coordinate internal and external audits and support customer security assessments.
• Oversee vulnerability management, incident response and security monitoring.
• Support business continuity, disaster recovery and third‑party risk programs.
• Develop and deliver security awareness and training across the organization.
• Provide metrics, risk reporting and strategic recommendations to senior leadership.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security, Computer Science, IT or related field.
• Minimum 7 years of information security or IT risk experience, including at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Proven experience managing security programs in multinational environments.
• Strong communication, leadership and stakeholder‑management abilities.

Required skills

• ISO 27001, SOC 2, NIST, GDPR, HIPAA, PCI DSS frameworks.
• Risk management, vulnerability management, incident response.
• Cloud security and third‑party risk management.
• Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CRISC, ISO 27001 Lead Implementer or Lead Auditor (highly desirable).
