Information Security Analyst – Protect Systems & Data

About the role

The Information Security Analyst will define, plan, and monitor security measures to protect Highspring’s computer systems and information assets. You will work in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment handling multiple projects and high volumes of work.

Key responsibilities

• Define, maintain, and report on network security strategies and best practices.
• Monitor intrusion detection and protection systems and produce regular reports.
• Oversee device security tools such as anti‑virus, anti‑ransomware, patch management, and vulnerability assessment solutions.
• Operate and report on SIEM platforms, correlating data to determine actions.
• Support third‑party vendor risk management, including assessments and compliance reviews.
• Participate in incident response and post‑incident activities.
• Coordinate with external security service providers (MSSPs, penetration testers, etc.).
• Lead security awareness training and simulated social‑engineering campaigns.
• Produce periodic information security risk posture reports.

Required profile

• Strong ability to communicate security policies to audiences with varying technical knowledge.
• Analytical mindset to examine diverse data sources and correlate events.
• Comfortable managing multiple projects in a high‑volume, collaborative setting.

Required skills

• Experience with SIEM systems.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Azure cloud platform.
• Familiarity with Email Security Appliances such as Checkpoint, Mimecast, and Proofpoint.
• Understanding of information security standards and frameworks (ISO 27000 series, NIST, CIS controls).
• Proficiency with vulnerability management solutions.
• Knowledge of Intrusion Detection and Intrusion Prevention Systems.
