Industrial Maintenance Technician I

About the role

Ceva is hiring an Industrial Maintenance Technician I in Verona, Wisconsin. The technician assists the Facilities and Engineering Manager with the maintenance, quality, equipment and utilities needed to manufacture biological products, in line with corporate objectives and international and federal regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and structural repairs on non-critical equipment
• Assist in preventive maintenance on critical equipment
• Carry out non-scheduled maintenance on non-critical equipment promptly, using the CMMS system
• Review and document repairs, alarms and preventive maintenance activities according to Standard Operating Procedures
• Complete all required documentation accurately
• Help execute key projects designed by the Facilities Engineering department
• Respond to alarms during non-business hours while on call
• Follow Quality Assurance, Health, Safety and Environmental protocols and procedures

Required profile

• High school diploma
• At least 1 year of experience in a maintenance-related field within a manufacturing company preferred
• Able to sit or stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and work in spaces requiring fall protection
• Ability to read, write and communicate in English
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather

Required skills

• Basic hand and power tools
• Some troubleshooting of electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems
• On-call response to emergencies and alarms
